(816) 823-2289 Regionwide Ozone Water Treatment Services for cooling
towers at 2 Federal Bldg. locations, (St. Louis, MO and Iowa City, IA)
in the GSA Heartland Region of IA, KS, MO, and NE. Service for other
locations, as the need arises, may be added to this contract in the
future. SOL to be issued o/a 02/02/98, closing date o/a 03/03/98. The
Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, chemical and
mechanical engineering expertise, labor chemicals, materials, supplies,
repair parts, tools, test kits, instructions, water analysis, and
equipment necessary, and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and ensure
effective and economical completion of all mechanical electrical, and
chemical related work and services to provide complete Ozone Water
Treatment System services. The Contractor guarantees effectiveness of
the Ozone Water Treatment program. Such services include: 1. Daily,
remote, monitoring of data representing the cooling tower circulating
water condition as supplied by the ozone generator system and
conductivity controller. 2. Monthly service call by factory trained and
authorized technician() to perform all inspection, water analysis,
maintenance repair, and preventive maintenance procedure on a 2.22
pound per day Marley Ozone Model #M-420 and a 12 pound per day Model
#B-1200 generation equipment. 3. Monthly monitoring and analysis of
steel and copper corrosion coupon. 4. Provide a monthly service
inspection report to the Contracting Officer's Representative on ozone
equipment evaluation, chiller temperature and pressure, water
analysis, system evaluation and operating recommendations, and system
graph showing any equipment fault, ORP levels, and conductivity levels
for the entire month. 5. Supplemental chemical treatment if necessary.
6. Service Calls within 24 hours. The contract will be for a one year
base period beginning June 1, 1998 with four one (1) year options and
one (1) option to extend not to exceed six (6) months. When calling for
