Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Test Program Set (TPS) Development for various Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRA) from the T-45 aircraft. The US Navy intends to issue solicitation N68335-98-R-0081 on a sole source basis with Boeing Aircraft, St. Louis, MO, under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1 with an approved Justification and Approval to follow this announcement. This requirement is for development of peculiar support equipment for integration with the CASS test station. The US Nacy does not own the specifications, drawings, and related data to permit full and open competition. Items covered by this procurement include development of WRA TPSs, First Article Test Units and production units. Anticipated release of the solicitation is approximately 5 February, with a closing date approximately 60 days thereafter. The US Navy is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price type contract. (0015)
