The offeror shall provide the facility, equipment, supervision and personnel to receive, handle, sort, stage, hold, account for, and deliver Government owned Fresh Fruit and Vegetables in the Philadelphia mission area. The offeror must be capable of complying with the Government's service requirements and be familiar with delivery and distribution techniques. The offeror shall provide office space for on-site Government personnel, security and custodial services for all areas occupied by said personnel and product. The base year contract will run from 01 October 1998 through 30 September 1999. Possible contract renewal for three (3) -- one year option periods will be included in the solicitation. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Best Value/Source Selection methodology will be used in the selection of awardee.
