D -- SEEKING SOURCES FOR CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT TOOLS DUE 012398 POC Lt Chamberlain, Fax: 703-614-9082 The Global Command and Control System (GCCS) Management Center (GMC), located in the Pentagon, Washington D.C., is looking for products to aide in the configuration management of the GCCS. GCCS is a worldwide system that resides in a multi-platform and client/server environment. The tool will be used to maintain configuration baselines and to centrally manage configuration items including software loaded, system hardware equipment, and network configurations. The tools in need must include, but are not limited to, the following capabilities: automated data collection, computerized status accounting, dynamic modeling, web interface, system architecture modeling, database driven, easy to learn and use, SQL-based RDBMS, and interoperable with other vendors.
