S -- OWNERSHIP, OPERATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF UTILITIES SYSTEMS DUE 033198 POC Brad McCready 901-686-6183 Milan Army Ammunition Plant, Milan, Tn, is seeking expressions of interest in the assumption of ownership, operation, and maintenance of utilities systems including electrical distribution; water storage, distribution and treatment; industrial and sanitary waste water collection and treatment; and central steam coal plant and distribution. Interested sources should have the capital, resources, and background/experience to own, maintain, and operate one or more of these systems. No formal acquisition/contracting actions are immediately forthcoming. This determination of inerest is one component required to complete a systematic evaluation of these systems for potential privatization under the Department of Army's Utilities Privatization Program. Interested sources should provide a statement of interest on a company letterhead ( not to exceed four pages in length), along with a general statement of their capabilities and experience in the ownership, operation, and maintenance of similar systems, and their familarity with compliance procedures and regulations of the TN Department of Environmental Conservation and Natural Resources and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4.
