The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC intends to place a purchase order sole source to MSE Technology Applications, 200 Technology Way, P.O. Box 4078, Butte, Montana 59702 to provide developmental work on ultrafine metal powders. This effort will define equipment functional criteria for the major components of the to-be-purchased powder generation unit; and develop a cost estimate and suggested list of sources for the system components. Delivery of a report detailing the required information is expected within six weeks of contract initiation. Contractor must have in their background this technology and to be able to complete this effort in a short turn around time needed for performance of the effort to satisfy the Government's requirements.
