70 -- ON-SITE SOFTWARE CONSULTING AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR SQL SOFTWARE SOL 40PTO800006 DUE 013098 POC Joan Hanicak, 703-305-8069 This is a sole source, combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, the test program outlined in FAR 13.6 as well as supplemental information provided herein. This non-competitive action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). SQL Software Inc., 8500 Leesburg Pike, Suite 405, Vienna, VA 22182 is the only known source who can provide the required specialized, on-site software consulting services due to their unique expertise as the developer and sole provider of the SQL products to be supported. The Patent and Trademark Office is currently utilizing approximately 163 licenses for three SQL products, namely PCMS Dimensions, PCMS+ Supernet and PCW. A simplified acquisition will be issued to procure 35 days of on-site, software consulting and support services to be completed within a six month period of performance. This announcement constitutes the RFP and is the only solicitation that will be issued. A sole source proposal is being requested pursuant to this announcement and shall reference number 40PTO800006. This solicitation incorporates all of the applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-2, as if stated in full text, as well as the terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-1. A firm fixed price purchase order will be awarded.
