Dunne, Jr., Contracting Officer, 817-978-2690 This is a combined synopsis/soliciataion for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Proposals under Solicitation 7fXI-W7-98-S057-N. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-02. This solicitation is not set-aside for small businesses. The list of contract line items (CLIN) is as follows: CLIN 0001 -- ON Site preparation and assembly of American Playground Corporation Equipment located in Yongsan Housing Division, Yongsan Korea. The vendor will provide all labor, supervision, tools, and materials necessary for site preparation and final assembly of American Playground Equipment already on-site at Yongsan, Korea. Work is to begin no later than February 11, 1998. Delivery and acceptance of the services will be at Yongsan, Korea. The privisions at 52.212-1, Evaluation-Commercial Items is applicable to this solicitation. The evaluation criteria will be price and past performance of similar work. Offerors are advised to submit a completed copy of the provisions at 52-2121-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with it's offer. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive orders applies to this acquisition. The following additional FAR clauses cited in Clause 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition: 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government, with Alternate 1, 52.203-10, Price of Fee Adjustment for Illegal or Improper Activity.
