The U.S. Dept. of Commerce, NOAA, intends to purchase seventeen (17) Low Noise RF Amplifiers. NSN: 5895-01-362-0550. The Government intends to purchase these devises from previous known sources. The Government knows of only three previous sources. The NSN number is 5895-01-362-0550. Previous sources were Lockheed Martin, P/N 1213674-201, Cage Code 56232; and Locus, Inc., P/N RF1784B, Cage Code 50311. The spare parts will be delivered to the National Weather Service, Kansas City, on an FOB Destination basis. The Government does not have specifications or drawings for this item. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire in support of the National Weather Service repair programs. Any small business source, able to provide the item referenced herein, is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 days after it's publication.
