S -- OWNERSHIP, OPERATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF UTILITIES SYSTEMS AT NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY MEMPHIS, MILLINGTON, TN DUE 033198 POC Eric Nass, 803-820=5919 POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT -- Naval support activity Memphis, Millington, TN, is seeking expressions of interest in the assumption of ownership, operation, and maintenance of utilities systems including electrical distribution; potable water distribution and treatment; industrial and sanitary waste water collection; and natural gas distribution. Interested sources should have the capital, resources, and background/experience to own, maintain, and operate one or more of these systems. No formal acquisition/contracting actions are immediately forthcoming. This determination of interest is one component required to complete a systematic evaluation of these systems for potential privatization under the Department of Navy's Utilities Privatization Program. Interested sources should provide a state of interest on company letterhead (not to exceed four pages in length), along with a general statement of their capabilities and experience in the ownership, operation and maintenance of similar systems; and, their familiarity with compliance procedures and regulations of the Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation and Natural Resources and US Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4.
