The Army Corps of Engingeers, LRD, is soliciting proposals for park attendant services in parks located on Table Rock Lake, Branson Missouri, and Beaver Lake, Rogers, Arkansas. The contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform park attendant services. The contractor must meet the minimum requirement of the solicitation in order for their offer to be considered. The minimum requirements are as follows: It is required that a minimum of two people be in the park at all times to perform the scope of work under the contract. The park attendants must have the ability to read and interpret instructions, to write or print legibly, to speak/understand english. Possess basic knowledge, understanding and skills of computers on a Window 95 environment and have typing skills of a minimum 15-20 words per minute. Ability to perform arithmetic functions such as adding, substracting, multiplying and dividing at the 10th grade level or above and to perform monetary transactions and record keeping. Must be of good moral character and judgement and good physical condition. Never convicted of a felony and able to obtain a $1,000.00 fidelity bond from your local insurance company. The contract is for the period 1 April 1998 or date of award, whichever is later, through 31 March 1998 with options to extend through 31 March 2002. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about 26 February 1998 at a cost of $5.00 for Specifications. Charges are non-refundable. Solicitation documents will be made available upon written request to include check or money order payable to FAO, U.S. Army, LRD and mailed to Contracting Division at the above address.
