The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), via the Commerce Business Daily, published a Sources Sought Synopsis on 21 October 1997, NAVAIR Synopsis No. 50074-97, seeking potential sources for the manufacture, integration and testing of Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Electro-optics+ (EO+) Stations. A presolicitation conference regarding the EO+ procurement will be conducted by NAVAIR on Tuesday, 10 March 1998 from 0900 to 1300 at NAWCAD Patuxent River, St. Inigoes, Maryland. The presolicitation conference will provide an open forum in which to discuss contractor responses to the Sources Sought Synopsis, contractor questions regarding the procurement, and technical requirements of the EO+ program. Specific conference agenda items include: (1) available specifications and (2) types of drawings. Contractors interested in attending the presolicitation conference shall facsimile responses to Mark Diehl, AIR-2.5.1.7.2, at (301)757-6902 by no later than 27 February 1998.
