The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), has a requirement to purchase a PixCell Laser Capture Microdissection and accessories on a sole source basis from Areturus Engineering, Inc., 1220 Terra Bella Avenue, Mountain View, CA. The following outlines the specifications for the required equipment: 1) PixCell Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM) System (including a starter kit); 2)PixCell Image Archiving Workstation; 3) Delivery and Installation Charges. The NIDDK also requires a copy ot the vendor's commercial price list and descriptive literature for the above items. All quotations must be within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000. It is anticpated that the Request for Quotation Package (RFQ) will be available 15 (fifteen) days after the publication date of the synopis. Receipt of the quotations will be due 10 (ten) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticpated award date is March 4, 1998.
