Z -- EMERGENCY OVERLAY TAXIWAY B, I, AND J SOL DAHA20-98-B-0001 DUE 032398 POC Contract Specialist Thomas Debler, Cont Spec (517) 483-5925 (Site Code W56LS9) SOLICITATION NOTICE: The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision with incidental services necessary to complete the overlay for various taxiways at Selfridge ANG Base, Michigan. Work includes, but is not limited to: Saw cutting, milling, and removal of asphalt and concrete pavement, patching areas to be overlaid, forming of butt joints, installation of reflective crack membrane per manufacturers recommendations, deliver, lay, and compact asphalt paving, repainting of disturbed lines and airfield markings, provide clean up and disposal of generated refuse and debris during the execution of the project, as well as, final clean up. The project is broken down into two phases. Phase I must be completed and accepted before Phase II can be started. Phase I consists of approximately 2,832 LF by 75 feet of two (2) inch overlay with Phase II consisting of 7,643 LF by 75 feet of overlay. Project duration is 75 calendar days and must be completed by 17 July 1998. A firm fixed price contract award is anticipated. Estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The SIC is 1611. It is anticipated the solicitation will be available for distribution on or about 06 March 1998. No telephone requests will be accepted.
