This solicitation is for the procurement of price listed items manufactured by part-numbered items manufactured by various automotive filter manufactures and a brake valve assembly. Solicitation not available until 15 days after published in the CBD. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 4 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition with a 10% preference for SDB concerns. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Approved Sources include Allied Automotive & Fleetguard and other related manufacturers. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within Federal Supply Class(es) 2910,2940,4330 and 4820. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation ofoffers, the final contract award may be based upon a combination of price and delivery and past performance as described in this solicitation.
