Tatum, (202) 273-8773 The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) is seeking input from private industry in determining industry commercial practice in relocation services that provides: 1) pre-transfer counseling; 2) marketing assistance; 3) guaranteed home sale; 4) property management services; 5) shipment of household goods and privately owned vehicles (POV's); 6) homefinding for buyers and renters; 7) mortgage finding assistance; and 8) group move services. Request for comments (RFC) is being developed and will be provided to those who submit a written request, prior to the industry conference. We anticipate that industry will have read the RFC and be ready to discuss it at the industry conference. The industry conference is tentatively scheduled for mid-March, 1998.
