Kennedy, (703) 767-1166, Contracting Officer R -- The Defense Contract Management Command has a requirement for a Relocation Program Specialist. The Relocation Assistance Program (RAP) provides proactive relocation assistance to ensure transferees have the necessary tools they need to cope with a mobile lifestyle. RAP is designed to provide current information, guidance counseling, education and training during all phases of the relocation process. The relocation process includes-extensive preparation and planning before the move to prevent DoD personnel (active duty and civilians) and families from making uniformed decision. It also includes assistance to families during the actual transfer period, and assistance to families who are separated from the sponsor due to duty requirements. The contractor shall perform during the term of this contract, the duties of a Program Manager in support of the RAP. Period of performance one year after date of award. The Relocation Assistance Contractor shall implement the Relocation Assistance Program to assist commanders, active duty military and DoD civilians, and family members and act as the primary point of contact for the orchestration and execution of all Relocation Assistance Program efforts whether or not the contractor is actually involved in the direct services delivery of each initiative.
