04333-0032 (Site Code DAHA17) The Maine Army and Air National Guard is
soliciting proposals for the furnishing of all materials, equipment
and labor necessary to complete the addition and alteration of an
aircraft parking apron and realignment of Taxiway "C", located at
Bangor International Airport, (ANG) Bangor, Maine The work is to
include the following: Expansion of the existing "Heavy Duty Aircraft
Parking Ramp" to the north and east by constructing additional portland
cement concrete pavement and additional bituminuous concrete shoulders.
Realignment of Taxiway "C" by constructing additional portland cement
concrete pavement and additional bituminous concrete shoulders. Repair
of spalls in the existing portland cement concrete pavement.
Connection of an existing subsurface drainage system into the existing
storm drainage system so effluent will pass through an existing oil
water separator. The types of work included in this project includes:
Temporary enviromental protection measures, building demolition,
concrete demolition, bituminous pavement demolition, excavation,
concrete and bituminous pavement, pavement markings, subdrain piping,
fencing, modifications to fuel leak detection inspection ports, taxiway
edge lighting and signage, relocation of existing emergency fuel
shut-offs. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Plans,
specifications and bidding documents are anticipated to be available
on or about 6 April 98. Cost of solicitation materials is $100.00. Make

04333-0032. Bid opening date and time is scheduled for 07 May 1998 at
1:00 pm local time. Project completion date is 120 days after issuance
of Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources may submit a bid which
