This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. All lumber, except cedar, shall be "No. 1" grade, Coastal Douglas Fir, and be grade stamped or mill certified per West Coast Lumber Inspection bureau (WCLIB) Grading Rules, Standard No. 17. Dimension lumber shall be preservative pressure treated with ACQ-type B, according to the American Wood Preserver's Association (AWPA) Standard CZ and P5 to retain 0.40 pounds of preservative per cubic foot. All Hardware shall be hot-dipped galvanized, equal in quality to hardware which is dippen twice in molten zinc, as manufactured by MazeNails, Peru, Illinois. Bid price will include the shipment of all lumber and hardware to the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, as well as unloading. The Department of Interior, US Fish & Wildlife reserves the right to award all or parital quantities based on unit price quotations for each item.
