The proposed contract is for project MDY 95-0426A/B, ADAL TMDE, Building 552, which consists of but is not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, and related items for facility addition and facility repair. New construction consisting of, but not limited to the following types of work: general site work, grading, backfill for structures, temporary erosion and sedimentation control, termite control, concrete, steel joists, meal deck roof panels and flashing, rough carpentry, bituminous damp proofing, building insulation, gutters and downspouts, sealants, roofing, flashing, doors and frames, glass, hardware, gypsum board, interior finishes (painting, resilient tile flooring and base), specialty items (fire extinguishers and cabinets, signs), mechanical, fire sprinkler, plumbing and electrical work. Facility repair: Portions of the existing building are to be repaired and include, but is not limited to demolition, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, electrical, and interior finishes. All work shall be in strict compliance with specifications and drawings. This will be a firm fixed price construction contract with 180 days construction performance time. Magnitude of proposed project is between $250,00 and $500,000. This solicitation will be issued on diskette, compact disc (CD), or via the Internet. The solicitation and specifications will be in a Microsoft Word 6.0 format. The plans will be in an AutoCAD format. No paper copies of this solicitation, specifications, plans or Bidders Mailing List will be issued from this office. Contractors interested in receiving the solicitation must include in your request the solicitation number and title, your size status, telephone number, fax number, point of contact, and preference of media. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Any amendments will be faxed or mailed on a diskette to all contractors on the Bidders Mailing List. For contractors accessing the solicitation through the Internet, amendments will be posted on the effected solicitation page. For Contractors accessing the solicitation over the Internet, it is their responsibility to check the Internet site daily for any amendments that are issued. A solicitation package will be available for review, free of charge, at the contracting office. The solicitation will be available for downloading and viewing on the Internet; reference the provided site address. Internet registration for the solicitation is required so that amendment receipt can be tracked. CAD software is required for downloading drawings.
