The machine will be used in a research environment for the manufacture of highly accurate and unique aerospace hardware including prototype models, flight articles, developmental instrumentation, wind tunnel test equipment, and material specimens. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in the CBD and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these cites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references. Offerors shall provide a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements listed in the "Draft Specifications". Responses must include the following: name and address of firm, whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged 8 (a), and/or woman owned; list of customers to whom similar products have recently been sold including contract numbers, and point of contact with phone number. If your firm cannot meet any of the "Draft Specifications", please identify them and provide a solution to meet the Government's requirement. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited.
