FISC San Diego intends to obtain just in time vendor direct delivery of bottled gas products for our shore and alfloat customers in the southwest region. The intent of this program is capture best commercial business practices through an ordering agreement with a vendor of bottled gases focusing on proactive gas management program(s) to continually drive down costs and improve service levels for our Navy customers. The agreement will allow for growth of the using activities throughout the southwestern region of the United States and will allow for expansion of additional bottled gas product requirements, as customer needs change. Presently, the demand for bottled gases includes Acetylene, Argon, Chlorine, CO2 Gray, CO2 Gray W/SI, CO2 Red, CO2 Tec, Freon 12 Freon 22, Freon 114, Helium, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen ABO, Oxygen PECU, Oxygen Tech, Sulfar Hexaflouride.
