The Upstate New York VA Healthcare Network, (Network #2) is seeking qualified Hospitals who possess the ability and capability to provide Cardiac Services. Hospitals must have the capability of providing cardiac services for Network #2 facilities located at Albany, NY; Bath, NY; Buffalo, NY; Canandaigua, NY; and Syracuse, NY at the contractor's place of business. Interested offerors are requested to give written notification of their interest, including pertinent data (JCAHO accredited, quality assurance reports reflecting mortality and morbidity statistics) to their qualifications and capability by close of business Monday, March 16, 1998. Offerors are requested to provide price estimates based on Prospective Payment System utilizing DRG coding. A threshold length of stay should be identified and an estimated per diem rate for hospital confinements exceeding the threshold length of stay.
