The selected firm or university will be responsible for assessing the training needs of the employees, advising and assisting with preparation of individuals development plans, facilitating group development activities, counseling interns on their development, scheduling and providing lectures through graduate level leadership and management classroom training, organizing a mentoring program providing offsite retreats and field trips, overseeing team projects, coordinating site visits, and maintaining liaison with a Corps of Engineers steering committee which is responsible for overall management of the program.
