The excavated material shall be obtained from borrow areas north and south of, and parallel to, the new dike. Approximately 73,180 cubic yards of material, measured in place, shall be required for the construction of the new dike. The project site is located at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge near Brigham City, Utah. The contract period of performance will be 120 calendar days from the contractor's receipt of the notice to proceed to be issued on or about April 30, 1998.
