The Illinois Department of Public Aid is requesting proposals from responsible vendors for the maintenance of its Anacomp Microfiche Equipment. The Department currently utilizes ANACOMP hardware and software for microfiche activities. This equipment is utilized in a data processing operation located in Springfield, Illinois that works three production shifts 365 days per year. The principle period of maintenance sought in this RFP is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday year round. However, remedial maintenance service must be offered on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis. This equipment creates both masters and copies of microfiche. The monthly volume is 24,000 masters and 38,000 copies. The successful vendor will be responsible for providing all replacement parts as needed.
