Skidmore, (410) 962-7995 FACILITIES ENGINEERING/MAINTENANCE: The General Services Administration, Mid-Atlantic Region, Chesapeake Field Office requires facilities engineering/maintenance services at the Health Care Finance Administration (HCFA) complex in Woodlawn, MD. This facility encompasses approximately 900,000 gross square feet. The services, require the contractor to incorporate "systems thinking" into the maintenance, repair, renovation and engineering operations of these buildings. The contract will integrate all aspects of the mechanical maintenance program in conjunction with tenant satisfaction, energy conservation and building air quality issues. The services also include custodial, landscaping and snow removal. The contractor must be able to evaluate the impact of building renovation projects on existing building systems and the work environment. Extensive experience on projects of similar scope and complexity is required of both the firm and its proposed on-site project manager. Offerors must demonstrate the ability to perform all required services through a combination of in-house staff or qualified subcontractors. It is the intent of the Government to award a contract with a base period of one year with multiple-year options. Award will be made on the basis of greatest value source selection.
