The structure may be pre-engineered steel type. The structure shall be located adjacent to the south side of building 399 and extend to building 408 to the south, and to building 100 to the east. The facility will be used to support crate manufacturing and other supply shipping functions. The roof shall be approximately 17' high and clear over the top of buildings 399 and 408. The structure will require lighting and electrical convenience outlets, 120 and 208 volts. In addition, provide a 20-ft by 10 ft enclosed storage area adjacent to building 408 for the storage of shipping materials. The storage shed shall include a roll-up door and lighting and shall match the existing building exterior. Estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. This project is subject to FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds (APR 1984). The solicitation wil be issued on an unrestricted basis and subject to the evaluation criteria contained in DFARS 252.219-7008, entitled "Notice of Evaluation Preference -- Construction Acquisition -- Test Program (APR 1996)". THERE WILL BE A NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE FOR EACH COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. THIS AMOUNT IS TO BE DETERMINED AND WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN THE SOLICITATION (IFB) CBD.
