B -- NOXIOUS WEED INVENTORY SOL K910R980034 DUE 032598 POC Lou Maestas, (307) 775-6057 Services include the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and other incidentals to perform all work necessary complete a noxious weed inventory for Canada Thistle, Hoary Cress, Russian Knapweed, Musk Thistle, Hounds Tongue, Leafy Spurge, and Spotted Knapweed. The units to be inventoried are areas that burned as a result of wildfires during the summer of 1996. The intensity of the inventory will be such that all roads and major drainages within the inventory block will be surveyed for the listed noxious weeds. (Level II type inventory) The inventory will include the hand mapping of locations where these noxious weeds were observed on USGS 1:24000 Quads supplied by the Government. This mapping must show location and plant densities in accordance with the guidelines for weed mapping established by the Bighorn Basin Exotic Plant Steering Committee. The inventory shall take place in portions of Washakie and Hot Springs Counties of Wyoming. This project is estimated at $100,000 or less and is 100% set-aside for small business.
