The Government does not presently intend to award a contract, but wants to determine industry capabilities and to improve the understanding of Government requirements; including proposed contract type, terms and conditions, feasability requirements, the suitability of evaluation criteria, including the approach for assessing past performance information, and other industry concerns. The Government seeks a Company (regulated or non-regulated) to own, operate, and maintain Electric, Natural Gas, Water distibution and Waste Water collection systems. The intent of the Government is to transfer ownership of the above utilities to a company with the capabilities of owning, operating, and maintaining these systems. Copies of the Government's requirements and a brief description of the utility systems will be posted on the Baltimore District's web site and can be downloaded. Hard copies will not provided without written certification that internet capability is unavailable. Copies can also be requested throughthe E-mail address. The Government is planning an industry forum on March 23, 1998 at 10:00 AM in the DCSOPS conference room, Bldg 46, Ft. McNair, DC. Driving instructions can be found on the web site. This forum will be limited to two (2) personnel per company. Interested parties will notify the Government of their interst in attending and any questions or concerns via E-mail. (0065)
