Jzyk, Contracting Officer, ES-Seattle @ 206/615-2025 or 206/615-2454 Work to be performed will consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the renovation of existing lift station No. 1, including removal and replacement of two (2) submersible sewage pumps w/associated piping, replacement of the concrete wet well top slab with poured in place access cover, improvements to the existing control building includeing repair of the roof, installation of a 120 gallaon above ground fuel tank for the back-up generator and a tune-up for the generator gasoline motor. In addition, the work includes provision of an approved temporary by-pass pumping installation to maintain service during all work. Project completion time is estimated to be 90 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. -- -The proposed contract listed herein is set aside for 51% Indian-owned, controlled, and operated firms under the authority of the Buy Indian Act. In accordance with the Public Health Service Acquisition Regulation Paragraph 380.503(e), not more than fifty (50) percent of the work to be performed under a prime contract awarded pursuant to the Buy Indian Act shall be subcontracted to other than Indian firms.
