This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # LRF-01. This solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 98-03. This is a full and open procurement under SIC 7011, Conference and Hotel accommodations. There are five contract Line items: CLIN 0001, Sleeping room rate for a minimum of 115 participants also provide individual rate for additional participants up to 150, CLIN 0002, Meeting room Rental rate, CLIN 0003, Meals (Continental Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Monday through Friday), CLIN 0004, Audio Visual CLIN 0005, Parking. The U.S. Marshals Service Procurement Office is planning a one week conference (Monday afternoon through Friday morning) for lateJune 1998. We anticipate from 135 to 150 participants and will require one conference room to accommodate all of these individual and two smaller, breakout rooms, accommodating up to 50 individual each. Our audio visual equipment needs will include at a minimum wireless microphone, an overhead projector screen and an overhead projector. We also require overnight accommodations for at least 115 participants. If the conference facilities are more than a quarter of a mile from the conference site for the overnight accommodation we will require shuttle/parking services for the participants. Conference facility must provide catering or restaurant facilities. This conference will take place within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Meal plan for conference: Monday (*Social hour buffet), Tuesay (*Continental breakfast, *Lunch buffet, **Dinner buffet), Wednesday (*Continental breakfast, *Lunch buffet, **Dinner buffet), Thursday (*Continental breakfast, *Lunch buffet, **Dinner buffet only), Friday (*Continental breakfast) *All participants (150 individuals), **Overnight participants only (115 individuals) These services are being procured under simplififed acquisition procedures. The acquisition is not a best value procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Date of Delivery is late June or mid July 1998.
