The U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, Office of Textile and Apparel has an acquisition for the design, fabrication, construction, installation and dismantling of USA Pavilions for the Decosit 1998 trade exhibition to be held in Brussels, Belgium in September 1998 and the Heimtextil 1999 trade exhibition to be held in Frankfurt, Germany in January 1999. These trade shows will feature textile home furnishing products. The design element consists of the design of the pavilion, graphics and concept, layout of individual booths and floor plans. The Decosit Pavilion total area (net) equals approximately 400 square meters and Heimtextil Pavilion total area (net) equals approximately 1500 square meters. The cost per square meter for both pavilions will be calculated on the net space. The contractor shall be responsible for all licenses, taxes, permits, and fees related to the construction of the pavilions and must obtain third party liability insurance. The contractor shall be responsible for all complete exhibit booth outfitting, a lounge and kitchen, and a business information office. The contractor shall provide a bilingual supervisor at each exhibition site. The contract period of performance will be one year plus two option years. This acquisition will be conducted under full and open competitive procedures.
