DSCR requires a routed connection to the Internet with a bandwidth of no less than 1.544 MHZ. The contractor will provide the DSU/ CSU, a Cisco Router, the digital service, the leased line and all wiring and cable required for the data connection into the customer premises. The Internet provider shall peer with at least six(6) major network access points(i.e. MAE East PacBell NAP, etc.) The provider shall also make use of private peering with multiple nationwide internet carriers both on the east and west coasts. The provider shall provide on-line usage statistics with realtime monitoring of bandwidth utilization. The provider shall have a proven history of at least 99.9% network baclbone uptime.
