Jameson, (217) 761-3553 The Illinois Air National Guard has a requirement for the alteration and construction of Hangar Flightline Facilities for the 126th Air Refueling Wing, Scott AFB, Illinois. Work includes but is not limited to providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to (1) demolish existing utilities and structures; (2) alter an existing aircrft maintenance hangar, 71,000 SF; (3) construct a general purpose maintenance building to include administrative functions, an inspection ship, and repair shops, 45,600 SF; and (4) construct a combination fuel system maintenance and corrosion control hangar, 29,400 SF. Total estimated magnitude of project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The construction performance period is 450 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. SIC for this acquisition is 1542 and the small business size standard is $17 Million. Solicitation is to be available on or about 3 April 1998.
