Ampex DCRSI digital recorders. The required delivery schedule is 45
days after receipt of order. The proposed contract action is for
supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with
only one source (Ampex Data Systems Corp (310) 640-0150) under the
authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). A determination by the Government not
to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this
notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information
received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of
determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested
offerors must submit adequate descriptive literature and evidence to
demonstrate their capability to provide such an item within cost and
time constraints. Firms responding must identify their company's
