A -- AMMUNITION/AUTOMATIC IDENTIFICATION TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION PILOT PROGRAM POC Sandy Lasko, Technial, 703-617-4494 and Susie Shupe, Procurement Assistant, 703-325-2856 The US Army CECOM intends to award a sole source delivery order to SAVI Technology, Mountain View, CA as a continuation of effort under Delivery Order Nos. DAAB12-96-F-0096 and DAAB12-97-F-0501 to complete the development and implementation of the Ammunition/Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) Integration Pilot Program. This program applies AIT to streamline and automate the ammunition inventory process from wholesale (depot) through transportation nodes to retail Ammunition Supply Points (ASPs). This effort lays the ground work for implementation of a comprehensive service and joint AIS/AIT Architecture for wider implementation at production plants, depots, ports, staging areas, and supply points. All work is to be performed under an anticipated fixed price delivery order. The period of performance will be 1 April 1998 through 30 November 1998.
