Contractor shall provide personnel to load and discharge cargo and perform all the duties of a stevedore on any vessel which the Contracting Officer (or their designee) may designate at the U.S. Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC), Port Hueneme, CA. The scope of this contract is limited to the furnishings of services at Navy Terminals, Navy Joint use Terminals, and stream operations only, and is not applicable to military-sponsored cargo moved over commercial, municipal or state-operated terminals. The period of performance is 01 Oct 1998 through 30 Sept 1999 with two, one year options. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
