Gunderson, Contract Specialist, Code 02631G, (703)602-0951 X624 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-98-G-6313 with EDO Corporation, 14-04 111th Street, College Point, NY 11356-1434. Orders will be issued for Engineering Change Kits, Pre-Overhaul/Repair, Overhaul, Repair, Installation and Checkout Material (INCOs), Maintenance Support Material, and Engineering Services for the MK 105 Minesweeping Gear. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). EDO was the system developer and the sole producer of the MK 105 Minesweeping Gear. It is the only known company that currently possesses the in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment requirement to satisfactorily perform the work under the orders contemplated herein. No other source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
