Subject to final approval, the Bureau of the Public Debt intends to acquire, on a sole-source basis through Learning Tree International two sessions of a thirty-two hour training course, number 471, Hands-On Java Programming. This course will provide personnel with the processes necessary to write, compile, and execute Java programs. First session preferred date is April 21 -- 24, 1998. Second preferred date is August 25 -- 28, 1998. Training shall be conducted at facilities located in Parkersburg, West Virginia. No solicitation document is available. A request for documentation will not be considered an affirmative response. If no affirmative written response is received, within ten calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that a comparable service is available, and that it is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this service through sole-source contract, a sole-source award will be made.
