A -- NCES MODELING SYSTEMS-THREE SYSTEM ENHANCEMENTS SOL EDOERI-98-002323 DUE 050498 POC LaShawn Flemming, 202-205-0177 The Department of Education intends to issue an RFQ for NCES Modeling System: Three System Enhancement. A major enhancements of the NCES Modeling Systems, NCES revised the methodology that reconciles NCES and current Population Survey data. In another effort, NCES sponsored a project that incorporated an econometric model which draws on the theory of "human capital" to link US demands for higher education to economic, demographic, and public policy factors. The opening date for the above solicitation is April 7, 1998 and the closing date is May 4, 1998. The period of performance will be for 13 weeks. The SOW will be available on the Electronic Bulletin Board (http:www.ed.gov). Proposals should be received by 10a.m. on the closing date. All responsible sources may submit a proposal.
