The U.S. Coast Guard will be issuing a solicitation to refurbish, paint, and air test, Aids to Navigation (AtoN) buoys in the Southern California area. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in the Statement of Work and applicable purchase order clauses contained in the solicitation. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The SIC Code is 7699. The small business size standard is no more the 5.09 million annually. The contract type will be Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The successful offeror will be responsible for all transportation costs to and from the required point of delivery, which is San Pedro, California. The period of performance will be from date of contract award through 30 September 1998, with one (1) year option period. The solicitation will be issued on or about 24 April 1998 and shall close on or about 18 May 1998.
