W -- BEVERAGE BASE/DISPENSER RENTAL SOL DABT11-98-Q-0060 DUE 042798 POC Contract Specialist SUSANNE MEREDITH (706) 791-1822 (Site Code DABT11) Furnish, install and service refrigerated dispensing machines to dispense beverage base ordered under this contract at Fort Gordon, Georgia during the period 01 June 1998 through 31 May 1999 with four one-year option periods. An estimated 17,480 gallons of beverage base and an estimated 10 rental beverage dispensers per month are to be procured under a firm, fixed price requirements type contract. Six different flavors are requested. The contractor shall warrant that the supplies delivered under the contract complies with the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and regulations thereunder and all other applicable Federal, State and Local laws. Dispensers shall be approved by the National Sanitation Foundation and the Underwriters Laboratories. The contractor shall effect repairs to all dispenser equipment within twenty-four (24) hours after receipt of notification of malfunction. Replacement equipment shall be installed and operative within seventy-two(72) hours after contractor's receipt of notification of breakdown. Prospective offerors are encouraged to visit the site accompanied by a representative of the Center Food Service Advisor's Office. Scheduled solicitation release date via U.S. mail is 10 April 1998. Quotations are due in the Directorate of Contracting, Contracting Division, Building 2102, Fort Gordon, Georgia no later than 27 April 1998 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Quotations received in this office after time designated will not be considered. Descriptive literature shall be submitted with the offer and will not be considered for evaluation if submitted after date and time designated. One award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible offeror whose quotation meets the purchase requirements and is found to be most advantageous for the government.
