This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F3461298QF067 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. This acquisition is a 100% small business set- aside. Quotations submitted by concerns other than small businesses will not be considered. The following provisions an or/ clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4,52.212-5, and 52.232-18. The 97th Contracting Squadron/LGC, Bldg 318, 205 S. 6th Street, Altus AFB, OK 73523-5147, requires the purchase of an in-vessel composting system manufactured by Ag-Bag International . The government anticipates negotiating and issuing a purchase order on a sole source basis with Ag-Bag International, Warrenton, OR for the purchase of a CT-5 compost system with accessories. The system will include the Ag-Bag Eco-Pod system which can convert largely organic waste into compost in a totally controlled environment by composting materials in plastic bags. Item Description: 1 each: CT-5 AG-Bag Compost System w/Five-foot tunnel, 3-stage 48" telescopic cylinder, low profile tires 1-ton hubs, 2-micro disk brakes per wheel, adjustable hitch to fit various size tractors,27-gal inoculum tank w/spray applicator and nozzle tip, bag pan assembly, air receiver with viewing window (5' diameter by 30" deep) with pipe reel holder, compaction control wheel brakes and control valve, self-contained hydraulic tank and pump, accessories include: Masterseal tool, vent valve tool, and temperature probe; 2 each 7C483-1 1/3 HP aeration blowers with timer, each to aerate two 5' EcoPods; 4 each Eco Pods, includes 5' x 200' green plastic, 1 -- 200' roll aerationpiping, 6 -- pouches of Ag-Bag Plus compost inoculum, 12- vent valves, 1 roll green tape, Masterseal Sealing Strip; 1 each set-up and training at Altus AFB.
