The requirement is solicited in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and an award will be made based on a best value determination. The requirement is set-aside for small businesses under SIC code 8743 (5,000,000 or less in annual receipts). NSF on behalf of the White House administers the "Presidential Awards Program". The program recognizes outstanding mathematics and science teachers in every state, the District of Columbia, Department of Defense Dependent Schools, and four U.S. Territories. A public relations effort on behalf of the Program is critical to its effective operation. NSF anticipates awarding an eighteen (18) month contract for PR support. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be available on or about April 10, 1998, at the following Website: (http://www.nsf.gov/bfa/cpo/contract/sol.htm).
