W -- INDEFINITE QUANTY CONTRACT TO PROVIDE EQUIPMENT WITH OPERATORS FOR PROJECTS AT MAKAH NATIONAL FISH HATCHERY, NEAH BAY, WASHINGTON SOL FWS1-98-044(LFG) DUE 052098 POC Procurement Technician, Sandy Stevens, (503) 230-5905, Contracting Officer, Lola F. Gannon, (503) 231-6188 request for proposals for a requirements contract from date of award to September 30, l998, with two one year options. The contract will be on an as needed basis for rental of earth-moving equipment (crawler, dozer, hydraulic excavator, wheel tractor-loader-backhoe and dumptruck) with operators for projects related to the mainenance, rehabilitation and/or construction of roads, water delivery systems, and dikes; the removal of river gravel; and related work at the Makah National Fish Hatchery, Neah Bay, Washington. The total annual work under the contract will not exceed $98,000.00. Work will be directed by work orders as needed. This does not obligate the Government to provide a guaranteed amount of work nor should it be considered as a guarantee of any level of work to be provided. Proposals will be evaluated by a selection committee of U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service personnel based upon the following primary criteria in order of importance; 1) adequacy of the equipment to perform the work 2) hourly rental rate 3) mobilization (move-in)/demobilization (move-out) costs and 4) Maximum time required to mobilize. The approximate issue date is April 20, l998. The issue date is an estimate only and the actual bid due date will be 30 days after the actual issue date. (0099)
