The Presidio Trust, a wholly-owned Federal Government corporation is seeking proposals from qualified firms to manage residential real property at the Presidio of San Francisco. Initial requirements will entail management of existing tenant leases formerly managed by the National Park Service, and leases initiated by the Presidio Trust. Assumption of responsibilites related to leasing and limited marketing of properties consistent with Presidio Trust leasing guidelines may occur over time. The Trust anticipates award of a term contract consisting of a base period of 1-year with 4 1-year option periods exercisable at the sole discretion of the Presidio Trust. Significant selection factors, all of equal importance, include: (1) management fee; (2) general quality of proposal; (3)quality of sample management plan; (4) demonstrated ability to successfully manage properties similar to the Presidio residential properties; (5) quality of sample financial and operational report; (6) quality of sample marketing/leasing plan outline; (7) quality of tenant relations programs; (8) experience working with Federal government organizations; (9) affirmative hiring and contracting practices (established outreach programs, current staff diversity, use of minority, small and women-owned contractors and suppliers); and (10) quality of presentation and interview responses.
