REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) Transition Assistance Courses for Senior Military Personnel. Due: 042798 POC: Linda Gallaher, fax: 757/443-1424, e:mail: Linda_Gallaher@nor.fisc.navy.mil. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Acquisition Group, HRD is seeking qualified large and small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, inclusive of women-owned and 8(a) firms, capable of developing and instructing a course which will instruct Senior Officers and Enlisted personnel on career transition. The Contractor will be responsible for providing course instructors with experience in instructing military personnel in career transition. This will be for a four day long course. Course preparation and materials shall be for (approximately) 20-25 attendees per course. Course content shall include, but not be limited to, dealing with change, career transition processes, marketing yourself for the corporate world, the interview process, compensation/benefits/offers of agreement, etc., as well as researching a potential position, organization of time management, resume writing, etrc. Additional topics may be proposed. Interested parties should forward capability statements, no longer than 5 pages in length to Linda Gallaher, Code 02HPA, 1968 Gilbert Street, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392. Upon review of capability statements, presentations may be required before a board. All capability statements should be submitted by 27 APR 1998. Capability statements should include (as a minimum): 1) The name of the firm, identification as to whether the company is large, small, minority owned, etc., a current, complete address and telephone number, along with a direct POC; 2) A brief"bio" of the firm itself, location of the company and any other pertinent managerial information; 3) Past performance data, showing proof of performance within the last 5 years (i.e., info on 10 contracts performed w/in last 5 years), award, pricing and delivery terms, as well as POCs for each contract, award pricing and delivery terms.
