lhurd@pica.army.mil. U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, has
a requirement for the maintenance/repair of auxiliary boilers,
Arsenal-at-Large. The contractor shall provide, manage and execute an
automated preventative maintenance program or an equivalent management
system on the Power Plants boiler equipment, auxiliary boilers, pumps
and drives for a firm fixed price. The automated maintenance program
shall be in a Windows 95 compatible format. Upon completion of the
contract, the maintenance program software shall become property of the
Government. The preventative maintenance program shall include all
labor, materials, supervision, travel, tools, testing equipment, and
equipment required to manage and execute the contractor's maintenance
program. The contractor shall perform service/repairs on a time and
material basis for all work not covered under the preventative
maintenance program submitted by the contractor. Period of performance
for this requirement shall be for one year from date of award and four
six (6) month option periods. Minimum for this effort is $25,000.00 and
including all options maximum is $500,000.00. Oral presentations will
be utilized in this effort and contractors will be expected to verbally
give their capabilities for this effort to Government personnel and to
answer questions concerning theoretical work scenarios. The Government
prefers proposals to the solicitation be submitted on either CD-ROM,
3.5" Floppy Disk or by email using WinZip to Lisa A. Hurd at
lhurd@pica.army.mil. This requirement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
