NASA/LaRC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Contractual Task: Survey of Pilot Training, that can be reflected in flight deck design and collection of Pilot Training information via, survey, literature search, and site visits. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 8742 and $5 million, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurment is DO C-9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 1-074-DCP.1218 is on or about 4/27/98 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 5/12/98. All qualified responsible small business sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B".
